Avalanche AVAX deposits charging 0.01 AVAX fees but requiring 5 AVAX minimums at most crypto casinos

Been testing AVAX deposits across different platforms and finding a frustrating pattern. Network fees are consistently around 0.01 AVAX (about $0.50), but minimum deposits are set at 5 AVAX minimum everywhere I've checked.

Wild Casino requires 5 AVAX minimum, BetWhale is 5 AVAX, even smaller sites like Shazam Casino are sticking to this 5 AVAX floor. At current prices that's roughly $200 minimum just to get started.

Tested so far:

  • Wild Casino: 5 AVAX min
  • BetWhale: 5 AVAX min
  • Shazam Casino: 5 AVAX min

Anyone finding better AVAX minimums elsewhere? The low network fees should theoretically allow much smaller deposits.

Same issue here. AVAX has some of the lowest fees in crypto but these casinos are treating it like it's ETH with $200+ minimums.

Tried Cafe Casino last week and they want 5 AVAX minimum too. Ended up just using BTC instead even though the fees are higher - at least I can deposit smaller amounts when I want to test a site out first.

The minimums seem arbitrary honestly. I've been tracking this across multiple chains and there's no correlation between network fees and what sites set as minimums.

SOL has similar low fees but sites want 2-3 SOL minimum. Meanwhile BTC with $5-15 fees often allows $50 minimums. It's like they're just picking round numbers without considering the actual cost structure.

Checked Ignition Casino yesterday and they're not even accepting AVAX deposits yet. Still limited to BTC, ETH, LTC and a few others.

    Current AVAX support I've confirmed:

    • Super Slots: 5 AVAX minimum
    • Lucky Creek: 5 AVAX minimum
    • Black Lotus: Not supported

Seems like the sites that do support it are all copying each other's minimum amounts rather than setting them based on actual network costs.

This is exactly why I stick with DOGE for smaller deposits despite the meme factor. Most places let you deposit 100-200 DOGE which is only $20-40 depending on the day.

AVAX minimums are definitely too high relative to fees. 1-2 AVAX minimums would make way more sense given the 0.01 AVAX network cost. These sites are probably just being conservative since AVAX is newer to their payment processing.

Update: Found that VoltageBet actually allows 2 AVAX minimums, which is better than the 5 AVAX standard but still higher than it needs to be.

Also discovered that some of these sites are batching AVAX withdrawals to save on fees, but they're not passing those savings to players through lower minimums. Classic case of socializing costs but privatizing benefits.
