Avalanche AVAX withdrawal fees 8 AVAX at Lucky Tiger when network cost is 0.01 AVAX

Just processed my first AVAX withdrawal at Lucky Tiger and got hit with an 8 AVAX fee. Checked the Avalanche C-Chain explorer and current network fees are sitting at 0.01 AVAX for standard transfers.

That's an 800x markup on the actual network cost. I've seen high withdrawal fees before but this seems excessive even by crypto casino standards. My withdrawal was for 45 AVAX so the fee represents nearly 18% of the total.

Anyone else seeing similar AVAX fees at other casinos? Trying to figure out if this is industry-wide or just Lucky Tiger being aggressive with their fee structure.

That's brutal. I stick to Bitcoin for withdrawals specifically because of situations like this. The fee transparency is better and most casinos keep BTC withdrawal fees reasonable.

Haven't tried AVAX at any casino yet but your experience makes me want to avoid it. 18% withdrawal fee basically wipes out any gambling wins unless you're hitting massive payouts.

I withdrew AVAX from BetWhale last month and they charged 3 AVAX. Still high compared to network costs but way better than 8 AVAX at Lucky Tiger.

Seems like newer altcoins always get hit with inflated withdrawal fees. The casinos probably figure most players don't check actual network costs and just accept whatever fee they display.

This is exactly why I convert everything to LTC before withdrawing. Network fees are predictable and most casinos charge reasonable withdrawal fees for Litecoin.

With AVAX you're paying premium fees for faster transaction speeds that don't really matter for casino withdrawals anyway. The processing time is determined by the casino's internal review process, not the blockchain confirmation time.

Check their terms page - Lucky Tiger might have updated their AVAX withdrawal fees recently. I remember seeing lower fees for AVAX a few months ago but can't recall the exact amount.

The fee structure on newer cryptocurrencies seems to change frequently. Some casinos adjust based on token price volatility while others just set high static fees and forget about them.

Update: Reached out to Lucky Tiger support about the fee discrepancy. They said AVAX withdrawal fees cover "additional processing costs and blockchain congestion buffers."

Translation: they're padding the fee significantly. Going to stick with Bitcoin and Ethereum for future withdrawals there. The 800x markup is just too steep to justify using AVAX despite the faster network speeds.
