Bitcoin transaction fees eating 40% of my 0.005 BTC withdrawal at Cafe Casino

Just processed a 0.005 BTC withdrawal from Cafe Casino and they charged me 0.002 BTC in fees. That's literally 40% of my withdrawal going to transaction costs.

Checked the blockchain and the actual network fee was around 0.0003 BTC at the time. Where's the other 0.0017 BTC going? Their fee structure shows "network fees may apply" but doesn't specify they're adding a massive markup.

Anyone else getting hit with these inflated Bitcoin fees at Cafe Casino? Starting to think I should stick with my usual spots that charge reasonable rates.

This is exactly why I switched to Litecoin for smaller withdrawals. Even with the conversion spread, you'll save money compared to those inflated Bitcoin fees.

That fee structure is brutal. I've tracked Bitcoin withdrawal fees across multiple brands and Cafe Casino consistently runs 3-4x higher than actual network costs.

For comparison, Wild Casino charged me 0.0005 BTC last week when network fees were similar to what you experienced. Ignition Casino typically runs around 0.0007 BTC. Your 0.002 BTC charge is completely out of line.

I'd recommend documenting the blockchain transaction hash and actual network fee, then reaching out to their support with the evidence. Sometimes they'll adjust if you can prove the markup is excessive.

Had the same shock at Cafe Casino last month. Their customer service told me the fee covers "processing and blockchain costs" but wouldn't break down the actual numbers.
