Bitcoin mining difficulty adjustment affecting casino withdrawal confirmation times this week

Bitcoin difficulty just jumped 8.2% yesterday which means blocks are taking longer to mine until miners catch up. Already seeing this impact my casino withdrawals.

My Ignition withdrawal from Monday usually confirms in 2-3 blocks but it's been 6 blocks and still showing as 1 confirmation. BetOnline withdrawal from Tuesday is similar - normally would be done by now.

Has anyone else noticed slower Bitcoin confirmations from crypto casinos this week? The network is processing normally but individual blocks are taking 12-15 minutes instead of the usual 10. This should normalize in a few days as hash rate adjusts but curious if other players are seeing delays.

Yeah definitely seeing this. My Super Slots Bitcoin withdrawal from Wednesday is still at 2 confirmations when it should be fully confirmed by now.

What's interesting is the casinos can't really control this - once they broadcast the transaction it's up to the network. Some players probably think the casino is delaying payments when it's actually just the mining difficulty spike.

Usually takes about 2016 blocks (roughly 2 weeks) for difficulty to readjust but hash rate often catches up faster than that.

This is exactly why I switched to Litecoin for withdrawals. Bitcoin confirmations can be so unpredictable during difficulty adjustments or when hash rate drops suddenly.

Litecoin processes way faster and the difficulty adjusts every 3.5 days instead of 2 weeks. My Wild Casino LTC withdrawal yesterday confirmed in 20 minutes while my friend's Bitcoin withdrawal is still pending.

Good catch on the difficulty adjustment. I was about to contact Cafe Casino support thinking my withdrawal was stuck but this explains it.

For anyone tracking this - you can check real-time Bitcoin block times on blockchain explorers. If blocks are consistently taking 12+ minutes then expect slower confirmations regardless of which casino you're using.

Most crypto casinos require 3 confirmations for deposits and 1 for withdrawals to show as complete, so this affects both directions.
