Bitcoin mixing services and crypto casino deposits getting flagged by compliance teams

Been using Bitcoin for casino deposits since 2018 and never had issues until recently. Last month tried depositing 0.25 BTC to Ignition Casino that had been through a mixing service (for privacy reasons). Got flagged by their compliance team and they requested source of funds documentation.

Similar thing happened at Wild Casino - deposit sat in pending for 3 days before they asked about transaction history. Both sites eventually processed after I provided clean wallet addresses, but the delays were frustrating.

Anyone else running into this? Are crypto casinos getting more strict about mixed coins, or is this just random compliance checks? Wondering if I should stick to fresh exchange withdrawals for casino deposits going forward.

Haven't had this exact issue but BetOnline did question my deposit last week. Used a Bitcoin ATM and apparently those transactions sometimes get flagged too. They cleared it in 24 hours though.

From what I understand, most crypto casinos are tightening up compliance to stay licensed. They're probably using blockchain analysis tools now that flag anything that looks like it came from a mixer or tumbler. Pain in the ass but I get why they have to do it.

This is exactly why I stopped using privacy coins and mixers for gambling. Cafe Casino froze my account for 2 weeks over a Monero deposit last year. Had to jump through hoops proving it wasn't from illegal sources.

Now I just buy Bitcoin directly from Coinbase, wait for it to clear, then send straight to the casino. Takes longer but zero hassles. The privacy aspect sucks but not worth the headaches with compliance teams.

Super Slots actually has a policy against mixed coins buried in their terms. Found out the hard way when they voided my deposit and sent it back minus fees. Cost me like $30 in transaction costs.

Seems like the bigger sites are all implementing this now. BetWhale was fine with my mixed Bitcoin as recently as last month though, so it's not universal yet. Probably depends on their payment processor and licensing requirements.

Had Lucky Tiger flag a deposit that went through three different wallets before reaching them. Wasn't even intentionally mixed, just how I manage my Bitcoin storage. Took 5 days to resolve.

Their compliance team said anything with more than 2 hops gets reviewed automatically. They're using Chainalysis or something similar to track transaction paths. Honestly thinking about switching to Litecoin or something with faster confirmation times and less scrutiny.
