Bitcoin withdrawal fees jumped to $25 at most US crypto casinos

Anyone else notice Bitcoin withdrawal fees have spiked across the board? Just checked my usual spots:

Ignition Casino: $25 BTC fee (was $15 last month) BetOnline: $20 BTC fee (was $10) Wild Casino: $25 BTC fee (unchanged)

Even with network fees dropping to ~$2-3, these sites are padding margins hard. Litecoin still sits at $3-5 fees but Bitcoin payouts are getting expensive. Been crypto-only since 2018 and this is the highest I've seen outside of the 2021 bull run.

Anyone finding better rates? Might be time to switch to LTC permanently.

Same situation here in Texas. Cafe Casino bumped theirs to $22 last week. I've been Bitcoin-only for withdrawals but these fees are eating into smaller wins.

Super Slots is still at $15 but their processing takes 3-4 days longer than everyone else. You get what you pay for I guess.

Litecoin is looking more attractive but I hate keeping multiple wallets. Bitcoin just feels safer for larger amounts.

BetWhale actually dropped their Bitcoin fee to $12 recently. Might be worth checking out if you're not locked into the bigger names.

I think the fee increases are more about profit margins than actual network costs. When Bitcoin network fees were $50+ in 2021, these casinos were charging $15-20. Now network fees are under $5 and they're charging $25? Math doesn't add up.

Ethereum fees are even worse - saw $35 at one place last week.

This is exactly why I switched to Litecoin six months ago. Sure, Bitcoin has better liquidity but when you're making 2-3 withdrawals per month, those $25 fees add up fast.

Lucky Creek keeps their LTC fee at $3 and processes within 24 hours. Bitcoin Cash is another option - usually $5-8 fees and faster than Bitcoin.

The big casinos know most players won't switch currencies over fees, so they're testing how much the market will bear.

VoltageBet still has reasonable Bitcoin fees at $18, but their minimum withdrawal is $150 compared to $100 elsewhere.

I've been tracking this across 12 different sites and the average Bitcoin withdrawal fee has gone from $13.50 in December to $21.80 now. Only Black Lotus and Lucky Tiger haven't increased theirs yet.

Might be worth diversifying into altcoins. Dogecoin fees are usually under $2 and most places accept it now.
