Cardano ADA deposits working at 3 casinos but zero withdrawal support yet

Been testing Cardano deposits across my usual rotation and found something odd. BetWhale, Super Slots, and Wild Casino all accept ADA deposits with standard 15-confirmation times (about 7-8 minutes). Deposits convert to USD balance instantly after confirmation.

But here's the catch - zero withdrawal support for ADA at any of these three. When I hit withdraw, ADA isn't even listed as an option. Support at Wild Casino told me "ADA withdrawals coming Q2 2024" but that was 8 months ago.

Anyone else notice this pattern? Feels like they want the one-way flow but aren't ready for the payout infrastructure. Currently have to convert to BTC for withdrawals which adds unnecessary fees.

Same experience at Super Slots. Deposited 500 ADA back in March, played it down to 750 USDT, then had to eat a BTC conversion fee plus their 0.0015 BTC withdrawal fee. Cost me about $35 extra just to get my money out.

Support said they're "working on it" but no timeline. Pretty frustrating when Cardano network fees are basically nothing compared to what we pay for BTC withdrawals.

This is actually smart business from their perspective. They get the marketing benefit of "we accept Cardano!" without the operational overhead of maintaining ADA hot wallets for payouts.

Most players deposit and lose anyway, so the withdrawal issue only affects winners. Still annoying for us though. I've switched to USDT on Polygon for this reason - deposits and withdrawals both work smoothly.

BetWhale actually has the most honest approach here. Their deposit page clearly states "ADA deposits only - withdrawals via BTC/ETH/USDT" right under the wallet address. At least they're upfront about it.

Wild Casino and Super Slots should add similar warnings. Nothing worse than finding out about withdrawal limitations after you've already won something significant.

Had this exact issue with a $1,200 win at Wild Casino last month. Deposited with ADA thinking I could withdraw the same way. Ended up converting to USDT and paying Ethereum network fees during a congestion spike.

Total cost was about $60 in various fees when ADA withdrawal would've been under $1. Really hope they add proper ADA support soon because the deposit experience is actually excellent - fast and cheap.

Update: Just checked Ignition Casino and they don't even offer ADA deposits yet. Seems like the three I mentioned are ahead of the curve on accepting it, but the withdrawal gap is definitely industry-wide.

For now I'm sticking with Bitcoin Lightning for smaller amounts (under $500) and regular BTC for larger withdrawals. At least the fees are predictable that way.
