Cardano ADA staking rewards while funds sit in casino wallet pending withdrawal

Been waiting 48 hours for my Cardano withdrawal to process at Wild Casino (1,500 ADA). Just realized I'm missing out on staking rewards while my coins sit in their wallet.

Normal ADA staking gives about 4-5% annually, which works out to roughly 0.2 ADA per day on my balance. Over a 3-day withdrawal window that's almost 1 ADA lost.

Do any crypto casinos actually stake customer ADA deposits and share rewards? Or pass through staking while funds are pending? Most sites probably pocket those rewards as extra profit.

Never thought about this angle but you're absolutely right. Been using BTC exclusively to avoid exactly these kinds of hidden costs. Bitcoin doesn't have staking but at least what you deposit is what sits there.

Cardano staking rewards are automatic on most wallets, so casinos definitely collect them on customer funds. That's probably why some sites prefer ADA deposits - free money from our balances.

BetWhale actually mentions this in their terms. They keep all staking rewards on proof-of-stake coins including ADA, DOT, and SOL. At least they're transparent about it.

Most other sites stay quiet and just pocket the rewards. Your 1,500 ADA sitting for 3 days is definitely earning them something. Consider it part of the house edge on crypto deposits.

This is why I stick to Litecoin for casino deposits. No staking rewards to worry about, faster confirmations than Bitcoin, and lower fees than Ethereum.

Cardano might be great for long-term holding but for gambling it creates these weird situations. You're basically giving the casino a bonus on top of your deposit.

Never considered staking rewards during withdrawals. That's actually pretty significant over time.

If you're a regular player with larger ADA balances, those daily staking rewards add up. A casino holding 10,000 ADA across all players could earn 2-3 ADA daily just from staking.

Might switch back to Bitcoin for casino play. At least the fees are transparent instead of hidden opportunity costs.

Update: Wild Casino processed my withdrawal this morning after 72 hours total. Lost about 0.6 ADA in potential staking rewards.

Going forward I'll probably use USDT for casino deposits. No staking rewards to miss, stable value, and most sites process Tether withdrawals faster than ADA anyway.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions about casinos keeping the staking rewards. Should have realized this sooner.
