Chainlink LINK deposits working at Shazam Casino but withdrawal option completely missing

Deposited 45 LINK tokens at Shazam Casino yesterday and they showed up instantly in my account balance. But when I went to withdraw some winnings, LINK isn't listed as an option in the cashier withdrawal section.

The deposit page clearly shows Chainlink as supported, but withdrawal page only has BTC, ETH, LTC, and USDT options. Has anyone else run into this with LINK specifically? I've seen similar issues with other altcoins at different casinos but this seems like an oversight since deposits work fine.

Currently sitting on about $800 worth that I can't get out in the same token I deposited.

Yeah this is pretty common actually. Lots of casinos accept deposits in altcoins but force you to withdraw in the major ones like BTC or USDT. It's annoying but not necessarily a red flag.

I'd just convert to Bitcoin and withdraw that way. The exchange rate hit is usually minimal compared to the hassle of waiting for them to add LINK withdrawals. Have you contacted their support to ask when they'll add it?

This exact thing happened to me with AVAX at Lucky Tiger last month. Support told me they're "working on adding more withdrawal options" but no timeline. I ended up converting to USDT and eating the small conversion fee.

At least Shazam gives you the option to convert internally. Some places make you play through your balance again before switching tokens which is ridiculous.

Pro tip: Always check both deposit AND withdrawal options before making your first deposit at any casino. I learned this the hard way with Polygon MATIC at another site.

For Shazam specifically, they've been slowly adding more altcoin withdrawal support over the past few months. LINK might be next since it's pretty popular. But yeah, convert to BTC or USDT for now if you need the funds out quickly.

I stick to BTC deposits for exactly this reason. Too many casinos have asymmetric crypto support - they'll take your altcoins but won't let you withdraw them.

Shazam's BTC withdrawal fees are reasonable (around 0.0005 BTC last time I checked) so converting shouldn't cost you much. Just make sure you're not in the middle of clearing a bonus that requires you to withdraw in the same method you deposited.

Thanks everyone. Contacted support and they confirmed LINK withdrawals are "coming soon" but no ETA. Going to convert to BTC since I need the funds this week.

Really wish casinos would be more transparent about this upfront. Having deposit options that don't have matching withdrawal options feels misleading, even if it's technically disclosed somewhere in the fine print.
