Dogecoin DOGE withdrawals working at BetWhale but taking 12+ hours to process

Hit a decent win at BetWhale yesterday and requested a 2,500 DOGE withdrawal. The Dogecoin network confirmed it in under 3 minutes, but BetWhale's internal processing took 14 hours before they actually broadcast the transaction.

This seems excessive for DOGE - the network fees are practically zero and confirmations are fast. Anyone else seeing these delays with Dogecoin at BetWhale? Their Bitcoin withdrawals usually process within 2-3 hours in my experience.

Withdrawal details:

  • Amount: 2,500 DOGE (~$380)
  • Requested: Tuesday 3:20 PM EST
  • Processed: Wednesday 5:15 AM EST
  • Network confirmation: 2 minutes after broadcast

Yeah BetWhale definitely has some quirks with their altcoin processing. I stick to Bitcoin there for this exact reason - their BTC withdrawals are consistently under 3 hours.

Might be a liquidity thing with DOGE. They probably don't keep as much in their hot wallet compared to Bitcoin, so manual approval takes longer. Still frustrating when you're used to crypto being instant.

I've had similar delays with smaller altcoins at BetWhale. Their support told me anything other than Bitcoin goes through additional verification steps, especially for amounts over $300.

Tried Litecoin there last month and it took 8 hours. Switched back to Bitcoin and it was processed in 90 minutes. Seems like they prioritize BTC withdrawals heavily.

This is exactly why I avoid DOGE at most casinos despite the low fees. The processing delays kill any advantage you get from the cheap network costs.

Ignition and Cafe Casino both handle DOGE much faster in my experience - usually 2-4 hours total. BetWhale seems to batch their altcoin withdrawals which explains the long waits.

Had the same issue with DOGE at BetWhale two weeks ago. 1,800 DOGE took 16 hours to process. When I contacted support they said it was "routine security checks" but wouldn't give specifics.

Ended up switching to Bitcoin for my next withdrawal there and it was done in under 2 hours. Definitely seems like a DOGE-specific bottleneck on their end.

Thanks for confirming I'm not alone here. Sounds like BetWhale just doesn't prioritize DOGE processing despite accepting it.

Going to stick with Bitcoin there moving forward. The 12+ hour delays completely negate any benefit from DOGE's lower network fees. At least with BTC you know what to expect timing-wise.
