Ethereum Classic ETC deposits working at BetWhale but withdrawal completely unavailable

Noticed BetWhale accepts Ethereum Classic (ETC) deposits through their crypto interface - processed my 12.5 ETC deposit instantly yesterday without issues. However, when I went to withdraw my winnings today, ETC is completely missing from the withdrawal options.

Only seeing BTC, ETH, LTC, and DOGE for withdrawals. Support chat said "technical limitations" but couldn't give a timeline for ETC withdrawal support. Anyone else run into this deposit-only situation with ETC at BetWhale? Wondering if I need to convert to another crypto first or if there's a workaround.

Same exact issue here with ETC at BetWhale. Deposited 8.2 ETC last week, hit a decent win on slots, then discovered the withdrawal problem. Support told me I could exchange my balance to Bitcoin through their internal converter, but the rates were garbage - about 3% worse than market.

Ended up converting to BTC and withdrawing that way. Lost around $45 on the conversion spread, which sucked. Would avoid ETC deposits there until they fix withdrawals.

This is becoming a pattern with newer altcoins at several crypto casinos. They rush to add deposit support for marketing purposes but don't build out the withdrawal infrastructure properly.

I stick to BTC, ETH, and LTC for this reason - those three work reliably for both deposits and withdrawals at most US-facing brands. The exotic alts often have these one-way street problems.

BetWhale's internal crypto converter is actually not terrible if you're dealing with larger amounts. The spread gets better above $500 equivalent. But yeah, for smaller balances it's a ripoff.

I'd suggest reaching out to their VIP team if you're a regular player - they might be able to do a manual ETC withdrawal or give you better conversion rates. Worth trying before eating the standard spread.

Had this happen with Dogecoin at a different casino last year. Took them 4 months to add DOGE withdrawals after they started accepting deposits.

For BetWhale specifically, I'd convert to Litecoin instead of Bitcoin if you're going that route. LTC withdrawals are faster there and the network fees are way lower than BTC right now. Still annoying to deal with the conversion though.

Thanks for the converter tip Mike - didn't know the spread improved with larger amounts. My balance is only around $280 so probably better to just bite the bullet on fees.

Really wish casinos would be upfront about deposit-only coins. Should be clearly marked in their banking section. Going with LTC conversion as Jess suggested since I need the funds out this week.
