Ethereum gas fees adding $45 to $100 crypto withdrawal at Ignition Casino

Question

Just tried to withdraw 0.8 ETH from Ignition Casino and they're charging me an additional $87 in gas fees on top of their standard withdrawal fee. The network fee right now is showing around $12-15 on Etherscan but they're passing along some inflated amount.

Anyone else seeing this? I've withdrawn ETH from other crypto sites and never seen gas fees this high. Thinking about switching to Bitcoin for future withdrawals but wanted to see if this is normal for Ignition or if something's wrong with their fee calculation.

Contact their support about this. I had a similar situation last month where they charged me $62 in gas fees when the network was only around $8. Support reviewed it and credited back $35 to my account.

They admitted their gas fee calculator was running high during network congestion periods. Not sure if they've fixed it permanently but worth disputing if the difference is that extreme.

This has been an ongoing issue with Ignition Casino's ETH withdrawals since early 2024. They batch transactions but still charge individual users the full gas estimate, which creates this markup situation.

I switched to Bitcoin withdrawals exclusively after getting hit with a $73 gas fee on a 0.5 ETH withdrawal back in March. BTC withdrawals from Ignition typically process in 2-4 hours with much more reasonable fees. BetWhale handles ETH gas fees much better - they absorb most of the network cost and only pass along actual fees.

Same experience here. Ignition's ETH gas calculation is broken or intentionally inflated. I stick to Bitcoin now - their BTC withdrawals are actually pretty solid, usually 2-3 hours to my wallet.

Tried Wild Casino for ETH withdrawals and they charge closer to actual network fees, around $18-25 during peak times. Ignition seems to be using some outdated gas price oracle or adding a huge buffer.

This is exactly why I moved to USDT on Tron network for my crypto withdrawals. Gas fees are under $2 consistently and most sites including Ignition support TRC-20 USDT.

ETH gas fees have been unpredictable across all crypto casinos, not just Ignition. Even legitimate DeFi protocols struggle with accurate gas estimation during network spikes.
