Ethereum ETH gas fees 45 dollars for 150 USDT withdrawal at Black Lotus when network shows 8 dollars

Just tried withdrawing 150 USDT from Black Lotus and they're charging 45 dollars in ETH gas fees. Checked Etherscan and current gas prices show around 8 dollars for a standard ERC-20 transfer.

This is a 30% fee on my withdrawal amount. I've withdrawn USDT from other casinos this week - Wild Casino charged actual network fees (around 12 dollars during peak hours), and BetWhale was similar.

Anyone else seeing inflated gas fees at Black Lotus? This seems excessive even accounting for their processing overhead.

That's why I stick to Bitcoin withdrawals. ETH gas fees are unpredictable enough without casinos adding their own markup. Black Lotus has always been pricey on ETH - tried them once in 2022 and they wanted 35 dollars gas for a 200 USDT withdrawal when network was maybe 6 dollars.

Switch to BTC if they offer it. Most places charge flat fees around 0.0005 BTC regardless of withdrawal amount.

I had the same issue at Black Lotus last month. They quoted 42 dollars for ETH gas on a 300 USDT withdrawal. When I contacted support, they said it covers "priority processing" and potential network spikes.

Ended up canceling and going with Litecoin instead - only cost 2 dollars in LTC fees for the same amount. Not ideal since I prefer USDT, but saved 40 dollars in the process.

Black Lotus has been doing this for months. They batch withdrawals but still charge individual gas estimates. Super Slots does something similar but at least caps their ETH fees at 25 dollars maximum.

Check if they offer Tron USDT instead - usually runs 1-2 dollars in fees and settles just as fast. Most crypto casinos support both ERC-20 and TRC-20 USDT now.

This is exactly why I avoid ETH-based tokens for withdrawals. The gas fee markup varies wildly between casinos. Ignition Casino actually shows real-time gas estimates and only adds about 20% buffer for priority.

For amounts under 500 dollars, I always go with Bitcoin Cash or Litecoin. The fixed fees make budgeting much easier than guessing what ETH will cost.

Update: Contacted Black Lotus support about the gas fee discrepancy. They explained their ETH withdrawals use "premium gas pricing" to ensure fast confirmation during network congestion.

Still seems excessive at 3x actual network cost. Switched to Tron USDT as suggested - 1.50 dollar fee and processed within 20 minutes. Will stick with TRC-20 for smaller withdrawals going forward.
