Litecoin LTC withdrawal fees 0.02 LTC at BetOnline when network cost is 0.0001 LTC

Just processed my first Litecoin withdrawal at BetOnline and they charged me 0.02 LTC in fees. Checked the Litecoin network and current transaction cost is literally 0.0001 LTC.

That's a 200x markup on network fees. My withdrawal was 1.8 LTC so they took over 1% just in processing fees.

For comparison, I've been using Bitcoin at other brands and even with BTC's higher fees, the markup is usually 2-3x network cost, not 200x.

Anyone else seeing these inflated LTC fees at BetOnline? Considering switching to a different coin for future withdrawals.

That's brutal. I stick with Bitcoin for exactly this reason - at least the fees are somewhat predictable.

BetOnline charged me 0.0008 BTC last month when network was around 0.0003 BTC, so about 2.5x markup. Still high but nowhere near your 200x situation.

Have you tried reaching out to their support about the LTC fee structure? Might be worth asking if they have plans to adjust it.

I've noticed similar issues with altcoin fees across multiple brands. Wild Casino was charging 25 USDT for Tether withdrawals when the actual network cost was under 2 USDT.

Seems like these casinos set their alt fees once and never update them, even when network conditions change. LTC fees have been super low for months now.

Might want to try Ignition Casino - their LTC fees were more reasonable last time I checked, around 0.005 LTC.

This is why I always check withdrawal fees before depositing with any new coin. BetOnline has always been expensive for crypto withdrawals compared to other brands.

Cafe Casino and Super Slots both have much better LTC fee structures. Last withdrawal at Cafe was 0.003 LTC, still high but at least under 20x network cost instead of 200x.

Your best bet is probably switching brands if you want to keep using Litecoin.

Had the exact same shock at BetOnline with Dogecoin withdrawals - they were charging 50 DOGE when network cost was maybe 1 DOGE.

Ended up converting everything to Bitcoin before withdrawing. Yeah the BTC fees are higher in absolute terms, but the markup was way more reasonable.

Definitely recommend checking their fee schedule before depositing. It's buried in their banking terms but lists all the crypto withdrawal costs.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Sounds like BetOnline just hasn't updated their altcoin fee structure in ages.

Going to test Cafe Casino next since a few of you mentioned better LTC rates there. Will report back with actual numbers.

For now, definitely converting my BetOnline balance to BTC before withdrawing. Even with higher network fees, the markup is more honest.
