Litecoin LTC withdrawal fees jumped from 0.001 to 0.01 LTC at most crypto casinos

Just noticed most crypto casinos bumped their Litecoin withdrawal fees from 0.001 LTC to 0.01 LTC over the past month. That's a 10x increase when the actual network fee is still around 0.0005 LTC.

Sites I've confirmed the increase:

  • BetWhale: 0.01 LTC
  • Wild Casino: 0.01 LTC
  • Cafe Casino: 0.01 LTC
  • Super Slots: 0.01 LTC

Only Ignition Casino still showing 0.002 LTC on their banking page. Anyone know if this is permanent or just temporary due to network congestion? The Litecoin network has been stable with 2.5 minute blocks, so not sure why the fee spike.

Been using LTC for smaller withdrawals since Bitcoin fees got crazy last year. Just checked my BetOnline account and they're charging 0.008 LTC now, up from 0.002 LTC in December.

Still cheaper than Bitcoin at 0.0005 BTC ($20+ at current prices), but the 10x jump seems excessive. Might switch back to Bitcoin for larger withdrawals and eat the higher fee percentage-wise.

Noticed this at Slots.lv too - went from 0.001 to 0.01 LTC sometime in January. Customer service said it's due to "increased operational costs" but wouldn't elaborate.

The timing seems coordinated across multiple sites. Either they're all using the same payment processor that raised fees, or they're just following each other's pricing. Network fees definitely haven't increased 10x.

This is why I stick with Bitcoin despite higher fees. At least BTC withdrawal costs are somewhat justified by actual network congestion and miner fees.

Litecoin was supposed to be the cheaper alternative, but at 0.01 LTC ($0.70-$0.80) it's not that much better than Bitcoin for withdrawals under $500. Above that amount, Bitcoin becomes more cost-effective percentage-wise.

Lucky Tiger still shows 0.003 LTC on their banking page, but I haven't tested a withdrawal there recently.

Might be worth checking some of the smaller sites like Lucky Red Casino or Black Lotus to see if they've kept the old fee structure. Sometimes the bigger sites lead these changes and smaller ones follow weeks later.

Update: Just tested Lucky Tiger and they actually processed at 0.003 LTC as advertised. Also checked Shazam Casino and they're still at 0.002 LTC.

Seems like the major sites (BetWhale, Wild Casino, Cafe Casino) all moved together, but some smaller operators haven't followed yet. Worth shopping around if you're doing frequent LTC withdrawals.
