Since the update rolled out January 3rd, my tracked RTP across 40+ sessions has dropped to 94.2%. That's a massive 2.3% difference. I'm talking about the same games, same bet sizes ($2-5 spins), same playing patterns.

    I've seen similar drops but not quite as dramatic. My Lucky Red sessions in January are running about 1.5% lower than December. The Betsoft games definitely feel different - bonus triggers seem rarer and when they do hit, the multipliers aren't as generous.

    What's interesting is I haven't noticed the same pattern at Cafe Casino or Super Slots running the same Betsoft titles. Makes me think it's a Lucky Red specific configuration change rather than a provider-wide adjustment.

    This explains so much! I thought I was just having terrible luck at Lucky Red this month. Been clearing their deposit bonuses since October and my usual wagering completion rate went from 85% to barely 60%.

    The 40x playthrough requirements are brutal enough without them dropping the RTP. Might be time to focus my bonus hunting elsewhere until they address this. Ignition Casino and BetOnline have been much more consistent for bonus clearing lately.

    Software updates can definitely mess with slot configurations. I remember Ignition Casino had a similar issue back in 2022 where their poker RNG got tweaked and everyone noticed tighter play for about 3 weeks.

    Have you tried reaching out to Lucky Red support about this? Sometimes these changes aren't intentional and they'll revert if enough players complain. Worth documenting your session data and sending it their way.

    Update: Reached out to Lucky Red support with my session logs. They acknowledged "recent game optimizations" but wouldn't confirm specific RTP changes. They offered a 25% cashback bonus as compensation, which is something I guess.

    Going to split my play between BetWhale and Wild Casino for now. Both have been solid on payouts and their RTPs seem more stable. Will keep monitoring Lucky Red to see if things improve over the next month.
