Monero XMR deposits working at BetWhale but zero withdrawal support available

Deposited 2.4 XMR at BetWhale yesterday and the funds hit my account within 15 minutes. Privacy coin deposits are smooth as butter there.

Problem: when I went to withdraw my winnings, there's literally no Monero option in their withdrawal menu. Only BTC, ETH, LTC, and a few others. Support said they "don't support XMR withdrawals at this time."

Anyone else run into this trap? Seems like a one-way street where they'll gladly take your privacy coins but force you to convert everything to Bitcoin for cashouts. Is this standard practice or just BetWhale being selective?

Same exact situation happened to me with Zcash at another brand last month. They took my ZEC deposit no problem but only offered Bitcoin withdrawals.

Ended up having to withdraw in BTC, then convert back to my preferred privacy coin on an exchange. Lost about 3% in conversion fees both ways. Really annoying when you're specifically trying to maintain transaction privacy.

BetWhale should be transparent about this upfront instead of letting people discover it at withdrawal time.

This is becoming more common unfortunately. The regulatory pressure around privacy coins is making casinos nervous about outbound transactions.

Ignition Casino actually removed Monero entirely about 6 months ago - both deposits and withdrawals. At least BetWhale still accepts the deposits, even if the withdrawal situation sucks.

Might want to stick with Bitcoin or Litecoin if you need matching deposit/withdrawal methods. Less privacy but more predictable.

Check their terms and conditions - most crypto casinos have a clause buried somewhere about "alternative withdrawal methods" when your deposit method isn't available for cashouts.

Usually means they'll process it as Bitcoin at the current exchange rate. Not ideal but at least you're not stuck. Just factor in that you'll lose the privacy aspect on the way out.

Would love to see more brands support full XMR cycles but the compliance headaches are real.

Had this exact issue at Super Slots with Dash last year. Deposited DASH, won decent money on slots, then discovered they only do Bitcoin withdrawals.

The conversion rate they used was actually pretty fair - matched CoinGecko within 1%. But yeah, defeats the purpose if you're specifically choosing privacy coins for a reason.

Now I always check both deposit AND withdrawal options before funding any new casino account. Learned that lesson the hard way.

Update: BetWhale processed my withdrawal in Bitcoin at a fair exchange rate. Lost the privacy aspect but didn't get screwed on the conversion.

Still think they should be upfront about this policy. Would save everyone time and frustration. Going forward I'll stick with Bitcoin for deposits there, even though I prefer XMR for the privacy benefits.

Thanks for confirming this isn't just a BetWhale thing - seems like an industry-wide trend unfortunately.
