Monero XMR deposits at crypto casinos - privacy coin acceptance getting limited

Been tracking Monero support across the major crypto casinos and noticed some concerning trends. BetWhale dropped XMR deposits last month - their support cited "regulatory compliance" when I asked. Wild Casino still accepts it but bumped the minimum from $25 to $75.

Checked my usual rotation: Ignition, Cafe, and Super Slots never supported it. BetOnline had it briefly in 2022 but removed it.

Anyone else seeing privacy coins getting squeezed out? The whole point of crypto casinos was avoiding traditional banking restrictions. Bitcoin and Ethereum work fine but Monero's privacy features were a major draw for many of us.

Regulatory pressure is real. Texas banks have been cracking down on anything crypto-adjacent, so I'm not surprised exchanges and casinos are playing it safe with privacy coins.

Stick with Bitcoin - every site accepts it and withdrawal times are predictable. I've never had issues with BTC at BetOnline or Ignition. Why complicate things with coins that might disappear from platforms overnight?

Wild Casino's $75 minimum killed it for me. Used to deposit $30-40 in XMR for casual sessions, now that's not viable.

Voltage still accepts Monero at $50 minimum as of last week. Their interface is clunky but withdrawals processed in under 12 hours when I tested it. Not ideal but better than losing privacy coin options entirely.

The writing's been on the wall since 2023. Binance delisted privacy coins, Coinbase never supported them, now casinos are following suit.

Honestly, Bitcoin with proper wallet management gives you decent privacy anyway. Use a fresh address for each deposit, run it through a mixing service if needed. The convenience of widespread BTC acceptance outweighs XMR's privacy benefits at this point.

This hits different when you realize most bonus offers exclude privacy coins anyway. Even when sites accepted XMR, the welcome bonuses were Bitcoin/Ethereum only.

Lucky Tiger and Shazam never supported Monero but their Bitcoin bonus terms are actually better - 150% up to $1500 vs the usual 100%. Sometimes the mainstream option works out better.

Update: Checked with BetWhale support and they confirmed XMR removal is permanent. Their compliance team made the call after "consultation with legal advisors."

Guess we're adapting to a Bitcoin-dominant landscape. Still disappointing to see the crypto casino space becoming less crypto-diverse. The regulatory climate is definitely shifting how these platforms operate.
