Monero XMR withdrawal taking 18 hours at BetWhale despite privacy coin instant network

Requested a 2.5 XMR withdrawal from BetWhale yesterday around 3 PM EST and it's still showing "processing" 18 hours later. The Monero network typically confirms transactions within 2-4 minutes, so this delay seems excessive.

Checked my withdrawal history and Bitcoin/Ethereum payouts from the same site usually process within 2-6 hours. Anyone else experiencing similar delays with XMR specifically? Wondering if BetWhale has different processing protocols for privacy coins or if this is just a temporary backlog issue.

Had the same issue with XMR at BetWhale about 3 weeks ago. Took almost 24 hours for a 1.8 XMR withdrawal to hit my wallet. Their support told me privacy coins require additional verification steps on their end, which seems counterintuitive given Monero's built-in anonymity.

Switched back to Bitcoin for withdrawals there and haven't had delays over 4 hours since. The XMR thing might be their internal compliance process rather than network issues.

Interesting timing on this post. Just withdrew 3.2 XMR from Wild Casino this morning and it was in my wallet within 45 minutes. Same network, completely different processing speed.

BetWhale might be manually reviewing Monero transactions due to regulatory concerns. Some operators treat privacy coins differently even though they're legal to use.

Check if BetWhale requires higher confirmation counts for XMR. I've seen some sites wait for 10+ confirmations on privacy coins while only requiring 2-3 for Bitcoin.

Also worth noting that Monero has dynamic block sizes and fees, so during network congestion periods, transactions can take longer than the typical 2-minute target. But 18 hours definitely points to casino-side delays rather than blockchain issues.

Had this exact scenario at BetWhale in December. XMR withdrawal sat in processing for 22 hours, then suddenly appeared in my wallet all at once. No explanation from support.

Started using Ignition for Monero withdrawals instead - they process XMR in 2-3 hours consistently. The trade-off is their withdrawal limits are lower, but the speed makes up for it.

Update: Withdrawal finally processed after 26 hours total. No notification from BetWhale, just appeared in my wallet this morning.

Based on everyone's feedback, seems like this is their standard XMR processing time rather than a technical glitch. Good to know other sites handle privacy coins faster - will probably stick with BTC there going forward despite preferring Monero for obvious reasons.
